Individual Food Sensitivity Coaching

Margaret offers individual food sensitivity assessment and support services to a limited number of individuals and families.

Here’s how it works:

It costs $450 for a one-on-one consultation including a 3-hour appointment and a written summary of Margaret’s recommendations.  The initial appointment will provide all the information you will need to understand whether or not food is a likely cause of your symptoms, identification of the offending trigger food, as well as individualized strategies to implement the suggested diet and lifestyle changes successfully.

Additional follow up appointments are billed at $100 per hour.

If you would like to consult her directly on addressing food sensitivities in your life, please send her a message using the contact form below, and she will respond to you as soon as possible.

Workshops on food sensitivities with Margaret Evans

Margaret’s current focus is on education of both the public and professionals about the topic of food sensitivities. In the past she has worked with hundreds of families and individuals to help them figure out the underlying cause of their symptoms and she has also spoken to a wide range of groups, organizations and media.

While Margaret will continue to consult with a few clients, her biggest commitment now is to speak to groups and organizations that have a desire to learn about the topic of food sensitivities. The development of the Evans Food Sensitivity Assessment Tool (EFSAT) was born out of this commitment to spread information about the life changing impact that is possible with the removal of an offending trigger food. She continues to see too many adults and children that have issues related to their diet where a few small changes years earlier would have resulted in a significant improvement in their health, learning, behaviour and quality of life. You can purchase the EFSAT here.

Below is a partial list of the types of organizations that Margaret is pleased to speak to. Section one of the EFSAT contains a checklist of the types of symptoms that can be influenced by food sensitivities so organizations or professionals that address any of these symptoms would be an appropriate group for a workshop.

  • Prenatal groups, lactation consultants, public health nurses and new parent groups.
  • Preschool and school age parent organizations interested in the health, learning and behaviour of children.
  • Organizations that focus on learning disabilities and learning differences in both adults and children.
  • Organizations that work with families and adults on the autism spectrum.
  • Organizations that work with children facing a specific health symptom such as digestive disease, chronic ear and throat infections, autoimmune disease and other inflammatory conditions.
  • Organizations that work with children dealing with developmental delays such as speech, gross motor or fine motor challenges.
  • Organizations of professionals such as teachers, social workers, education assistants, speech therapists and counselors that support students either in a school or community environment.
  • Organizations that work with adults facing any type of chronic illness or autoimmune disease where the underlying symptoms may be improved if a food sensitivity is addressed. This would include inflammatory bowel disease, autoimmune disease, neurological diseases such as MS or Parkinson’s disease, or diseases related to arthritis and joint inflammation.
  • Medical and health professionals that work in any of the areas listed above where information on food sensitivities would support them to provide more comprehensive and personalized care.
  • The wide range of professionals that work in the area of mental health and addiction with both youth and adults.
  • Any group of people interested in supporting children or adults to live a healthier, happier, and more productive life.
